Description
A Mill Labourer is responsible for a wide variety of duties associated with Mill Labour as well as any other duties assigned by your supervisor, to help make our operations safer, more efficient and effective.
Responsibilities

Snow and debris removal to maintain to safe access to mill building entrances.

Maintain concentrate loadout scale in clean operable condition on a daily basis.

Provide bottled water to mill offices and lunchrooms as assigned.

Provide assistance to mill operations personnel as directed by the Training or Shift Supervisor.

Cleanup duties as assigned (e.g. shoveling, hosing, clearing of chutes and feeders, removal of debris from work area).

Assist with moving of office furniture as required.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Must be physically fit and capable of working long hours on their feet and in all weather conditions.

Must be capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.

Must be capable of operating utility equipment (with training), i.e. skid steer loader, forklift, overhead crane.

Must be able to work with minimum supervision once familiar with requirements.

Must be willing to comply with all applicable company policies and procedures.

Must maintain a high degree of situational awareness and safe work practices.
